In a monumental step toward redefining the Ontario Soccer landscape, JPL Canada has announced its highly anticipated soccer tournament, set to kick off on the 3rd & 4th of May 2025. This groundbreaking event will unite teams and fans from across Ontario in a celebration of athleticism, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

The tournament promises a thrilling showcase of talent, with elite teams from across Ontario vying for the coveted championship trophy. “This tournament is more than just a competition,” said JPL Canada CEO Martin Brock. “It’s an opportunity to connect communities, inspire the next generation of athletes, and set a new benchmark for sporting excellence.”

The Junior Premier League Canada is excited to launch the JPL Canada Cup, our first tournament in the Ontario region

We cannot wait to see the best teams in Ontario come together to face each other in what will be an amazing weekend of football and we are excited to crown our first winners in what will become one of the most anticipated tournaments on the calendar.

We are launching with the following age groups:

2017 Boys playing 7v7, each game is played over 2 x 25 minutes

2015 Boys playing 7v7, each game is played over 2 x 25 minutes

2013 Boys playing 9v9, each game is played over 2 x 30 minutes

2010 Boys playing 11v11, each game is played over 2 x 35 minutes

and in our Warriors side of the tournament (Warriors is our Girl’s only bracket)

2017 Girls playing 7v7, each game is played over 2 x 25 minutes

2015 Girls playing 7v7, each game is played over 2 x 25 minutes

2013 Girls playing 9v9, each game is played over 2 x 30 minutes

2010 Girls playing 11v11, each game is played over 2 x 35 minutes

All teams entering are guaranteed 3 games

2017/2015 – $275.00

2013 – $345.00

2010 – $475.00

The venue will be in the GTA

Deadline to apply is February 21, 2025 (or once a maximum of 8 teams per age group is reached)
